Ramadan

Taraweeh prayers will be open for brothers and sisters straight after Isha. Please refer to the Timetable for details of start times.

 

Iftar will be provided at the masjid. Please donate to the iftar fund. “Whoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” Tirmidhi

Lease

We are excited to announce that the Deptford Islamic Centre has agreed terms of a new lease for our premises. We'd like to thank Lewisham Council, MPs, the ArchCo and the local community for their support during this time. We can now continue to provide our crucial services and programs for the near future. Explore our projects below to see what we have to offer. Our running costs have significantly increased, consider a monthly regular donation (standing order) to continue supporting your Centre.

Youth club

The Centre arranges occasional gatherings for youth and local community. Previous events include football matches, table tennis, and go karting.

Community Food Assistance Program

Deptford Islamic Centre is proud to offer a community food program that is open and available to everyone, regardless of religion or background. Our aim is to make fresh and healthy food accessible to those who need it the most.
